a friend of mine asked me to put more hokkien posts so that she can learn hokkien. i am thinking of ways to make the 'lesson' fun, hahaha ... but i am not tat creative, hoho

talking about languages, i speak mandarin, english, malay, hokkien n wat else ar ... n i understand foo chow but canot speak, abit abit can lar

for japanese, tamil, i can speak but canot understand... haha ... i was KIDDING la~ *faint*

Mooncake Festival

herm, just knew my cousin 'aeroplane' me on mooncake festival, they went to my grandpa's house leh...

this is the conversation,
cousin: hey, wa lang tang lu kao gao tiam ar (hey, we waited for u till 9pm)
me: sih meh? wo sou kong lok hor, lu lang bo ki mar (ya meh?i tot raining, so u ppl not going)
cousin: ei, lu kio wa lang ki ei leh (ei, u asked us to go one leh)
me: ei, lu beh hiao ka dian wa ho wa meh? (ei, then u dunno how to call me one meh?)
cousin: wa ai ka leh, tapi yi lang kong ai theng liao leh (i wanted to call ba, but they said wanna go home liao leh)
me: liao? (then?)
cousin: liao wa lang gia teng lang ki kia kia gao chak tiam lor (then we ambil the lantern n walk outside until 10pm lor)
me: ha mik lar, bo ka hor wa ei, sien lar (apa lar, didnt call me ei, sien lar)
cousin: ............
me: .........................( i have more dots lar, haha)

then jumpa grandpa again, he said,
grandpa: an chua cha meh bo lai shen teng lang (y u didnt come yesteryday play lantern)
me: wo sou kong yi lang bo ki leh ( i tot they not going)
grandpa: liao liao du wu lai ah (all came ar)
me: .............................

wah wah wah .... sien sien sien .... apa lar, miss the mooncake festival with my cousins, they bo liang xim, canot blame them aso coz i was the one who asked them to go one, but sendiri didnt turn up, hahaha

since i didnt 'burn' lattern, so i edit a pic to console myself

Fruit Tart

this is what i did on mooncake festival nite, am supposed to 'burn' lantern with my cousins at my grandpa's house, since it was raining n since my parents were attending dinner, so i had my dinner outside, after dinner, still raining, apalar, spoiled my 'lantern' mood, so i went shopping n bought ingredients that i need to bake my fruit tart...

after reaching home, is about 9pm, i put all the things on the table, took some pictures so tat i can post them here...

well, i like cakes ... started this year, my dance centre got a new culture, tat's we all share to buy a birthday cake for the birthday 'boy' n birthday 'girl' ... for the 1st few person, we still behave good, treat the cake nicely, but what happened recently? take a look ...

icelyn said the candles should 'cucuk' like this ...


1st cartoon cake tat i bought, when taking pic, we oredi discuss which cartoon we wanna take from the birthday boy, haha ...


take a look at this carefully, we have 're-position' the fruit and replace them with candles, and again, we discuss which fruit we would like to eat before 'handling' the cake the the bday person ... haha

Ah Yeo Ice Kacang

this is my grandpa's ice kacang stall since ... erm ... i think very long time ago,since my mum was in primary school ... n changing places to another places .... but now at the entrance of jubilee ground ... will be there permanent ... now my mother is taking over to 'run' the 'business' ... will be there permanent ... helping my mum there every afternoon n really tiring everyday ... morning at laundry, afternoon at stall n evening at dance centre ... erm ... dunno how long can i tahan, haha

didnt take any pics of the kacang n bla bla bla, will take when i free n when i feel like ... haha ...

business looks good ar, but infact, not as good as when we were outside chung hua primary school no.3, coz lesser tables ... erm

i like green tea mooncake the best ... but my mum bought 4 lotus mooncake this year, will go grandpa's house to 'burn' lantern, but if my cousins are not going, then i might 'burn' it myself either outside my house or downstairs my dance centre ...
