Hokkien Lesson

a friend of mine asked me to put more hokkien posts so that she can learn hokkien. i am thinking of ways to make the 'lesson' fun, hahaha ... but i am not tat creative, hoho

talking about languages, i speak mandarin, english, malay, hokkien n wat else ar ... n i understand foo chow but canot speak, abit abit can lar

for japanese, tamil, i can speak but canot understand... haha ... i was KIDDING la~ *faint*



the conversation,
1. I keep dreaming that you give me money, gold, flowers, bring me overseas. So, how?
2. Continue dreaming or stop dreaming!

the hokkien,
1. wa tiam tiam cho bang lu hok wa lui, kim, hua, chua wa chu kok, so, an chua
2. jiap lok ki cho bang bo du mai cho bang

the tune,
1. wa-4 tiam-3 tiam-3 cho-4 bang-3 lu-4 hok-3 wa-4 lui-1, kim-1, hua-1, chua-3 wa-4 chu-4 kok-3, so, an-1 chua4
2. jiap-1 lok-3 ki-3 cho-4 bang-3 bo-1 du-3 mai-4 cho-4 bang-3

the translation,
1. wa tiam tiam cho bang (i keep dreaming) lu hok wa lui (you give me money), kim (gold), hua (flower), chua wa chu kok (bring me overseas) , so, an chua (how)
2. jiap lok ki (continue) cho bang (dreaming) bo du (or) mai (stop) cho bang (dreaming)

the conclusion,
i think i am crazy, haha
